Dr. Oliak and PA Mollet have worked together since 2006 and founded MDTW to address a growing gap in traditional healthcare. Dr. Oliak is a board-certified, fellowship-trained physician who specializes in weight loss, hormone health, and wellness.

Dr. Oliak started MD Total Wellness with his long-time associate Allison Mollet, PA-C, in 2023, after a 20-year career as a weight loss surgeon in private practice at the Oliak Center for Weight Loss.

In 2023 he transitioned from surgery into wellness. Dr. Oliak was drawn to weight loss surgery 25 years ago because it was transformational for patients, yet overlooked by our healthcare system. Dr. Oliak is drawn to wellness now, because similarly, the treatments are transformational for patients, yet overlooked by our healthcare system. Our healthcare system focuses on synthetic pharmaceutical treatments for basically everything, and ignores natural and root-cause treatments despite these treatments often being the obvious best choice.

Dr. Oliak is excited to offer life-changing treatments that can substantially improve patients’ quality of life.

Dr. Oliak went to Northwestern University, where he majored in chemical engineering, and then Washington University School of Medicine where he earned his MD degree. He then completed a general surgery residency at Harbor-UCLA, and a laparoscopic bariatric surgery fellowship at Hackensack University Medical Center in New Jersey. Dr. Oliak was one of the first laparoscopic bariatric surgeons in Orange County when he started his career in 2002. Since then he has since performed more than 3000 laparoscopic weight loss operations.

Allison Mollet, MMS, PA-C, is a board-certified physician associate with over two decades of clinical experience, specializing in medical weight loss and hormone therapy for both men and women. A graduate of Yale University School of Medicine PA Program, she provides compassionate, personalized care aimed at restoring quality of life.
PA Mollet began her clinical career in the field of metabolic and bariatric surgery, where she developed a deep understanding of the complex relationship between weight, hormones, and long-term health. Her passion for preventive medicine and individualized care led her to focus on hormone health, wellness, and anti-aging—areas in which she recognized a critical gap in care, particularly for individuals suffering from the often-overlooked symptoms of perimenopause and menopause. Her goal is to help patients achieve lasting improvement in health and quality of life through personalized, proactive care.
PA Mollet is also a respected educator and served as founding faculty and Program Director for Marshall B. Ketchum University School of PA Studies, the first PA program in Orange County. She remains involved in medical education through lecturing and mentorship. She is a member of the American Academy of PAs (AAPA), the California Academy of PAs (CAPA), the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M), and The Menopause Society.

Testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) can be life-changing for men with low testosterone. Low testosterone is common, even in younger men, and it has gotten more common over time. Studies have shown that average testosterone levels have decreased by at least 25% over the past several decades, putting a significant percentage of men at risk for low testosterone. For procedures, such as Alma TED, EmSella, and EmFemme, price depends on the number of treatments prescribed, and is determined after your consultation.
